You are invited to quote for the reconstruction/relocation of water and sewer services, which is part of the Lawson Town Centre Redevelopment in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this Request for Quote (RFQ).
The Council intends to redevelop the Lawson Town Centre to allow the upgrading of the Great Western Highway to four lanes to proceed in 2009.
The project will involve the ultimate demolition of all of the highway frontage shops between Staples Street and New Street, the re-subdivision of the land, and the construction of new local public road infrastructure. This work will require all basic services including water, sewer, electrical reticulation and street lighting to be replaced/upgraded.
The Council is seeking fee submissions from suitably qualified consultants to prepare designs and ultimately gain authority approval for the designs.
