Auburn Council provides services to one of Sydney's more mixed and vibrant areas 17 km west of the Sydney CBD. Wyatt Park is located in the centre of the Local Government Area and has been historically synonymous with sport and recreation for over 100 years.
Auburn Council now wants to reassert Wyatt Park as a regional sports precinct.
The first stage is the redevelopment of the Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre into a focal point for the Wyatt Park Sporting Precinct by providing modern leisure and recreation facilities
together with a social hub for both the regional sports users and the local community.
