Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is currently undertaking an urban renewal project on a State Significant Precinct that is a part of the Redfern – Waterloo Authority Sites, also known as the Redfern North Eveleigh Precinct.

Water Quality, Flooding, Stormwater and Amenity services are required to support the rezoning of the RNE precinct through an amendment to the State Environmental Planning Policy (State Significant Precincts) 2005 (SEPP SSP).

The intention is to transform the area into a vibrant innovation precinct that provides a wide mix of employment and commercial uses as well as enhance the public domain and amenity to create an overall public benefit.
