The Parklands Plan of Management 2020 objectives to secure a bushland corridor along the entire length of the Parklands to improve biodiversity. The Western Sydney Parklands Trust has created Biobank Sites to fund the conservation of bushland sites in perpetuity, Chandos West is one of the biobank sites. Works will include protection and enhancement of the native bushland on the site.
