The new Department of Industry and Investment of New South Wales (DII), which includes
Forests NSW, requests tenders for the supply of Digital Multispectral Aerial Photography
(DMAP) to be acquired no later than 18th September 2009. Forests New South Wales (FNSW) is the largest softwood plantation owner in Australia with an estate totalling 220,000 ha. FNSW wish to evaluate the utility of DMAP for monitoring health in softwood plantations and have selected a study site within Hume Region in the NSW Southern Tablelands. The tender is for two project area options covering 6,892 ha and 11,691 ha of softwood plantation near Tumut.

Project conditions and specifications are outlined in the attached Statement of
Requirement and General Contract. Respondents are requested to also use the attached Tender
Form structure and to e-mail any supporting vector information as ArcMap shapefiles.
Tenders will close at 2pm on Thursday 27th August 2009. Offers of tender must be in PDF
format and lodged via the NSW government eTendering site. Tenders must include signatures
and all required documentation (eg. Safety Management Plan). Tenders submitted by facsimile,
letter-gram, telex or email will not be considered.
