The Powerhouse is one of Australia's oldest and most important cultural institutions. It is Australia's only museum of applied arts and sciences with an exceptional collection of approximately 500,000 objects. The Powerhouse is undertaking significant renewal through the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta, expansion of Powerhouse Castle Hill, the digitisation of Powerhouse Collections, the renewal of Powerhouse Ultimo and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.

To deliver this major renewal program, the Powerhouse seeks to appoint a creative partner or team to collaborate on the conceptualisation, design and build of a new website that provides global access to the digitised Powerhouse Collection and is a digital archive of the practice of the institution, its exhibitions, programs and content.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).

Stage 1 is the EOI process.

Stage 2 is the Selective Request for Tender from shortlisted applicants.

Your EOI will respond to the following:
