The following items comprise the major contract work scope.
Block K was destroyed by fire, restoration work to be constructed on existing concrete slab, with construction and finishes to match that of original building and other buildings.
Note: Demolition and removal of debris complete.
- Total floor area – 155m2.
- Locate existing services, ensure operation of same, stormwater and sewerage.
- Laying of double and single face brick walls.
- Erection of timber roof and wall framing and exposed timber roof trusses.
- Installation of all services, electrical, stormwater and sewerage, stormwater and sewerage to connect into existing system.
- Installation of cement tiled roof and metal roof to covered way.
- Installation of plasterboard walls and ceilings.
- Installation of all PC Items, toilet partition, sink unit bench and open steel storage units.
- Install aluminium windows and doors.
- Installation of metal door jambs and solid core doors.
- Ceramic wall and floor tiling.
- Laying of carpet and sheet vinyl.
- Install new light fittings.
- Install new reverse cycle air-conditioning unit.
- Internal and external painting
