Tender Details
The NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change is seeking to complete the second phase of its hydrodynamic modelling program for XXXX. Phase one of the project, which consisted, inter alia, of a data audit, water balance model and scoping for phase two of the hydrodynamic modelling program, has been completed. The second phase of the modelling program has eight key purposes:
1. Completing the basic 2D model build in Mike Flood
2. Conducting a strategic level calibration and verification using historical flow and inundation extent data
3. Run the 2D model to fill and drain the XXXX, for both dry and wet antecedent conditions
4. Refining appropriate water management areas (WMA) within XXXX and determining the physical and flow characteristics of each WMA
5. Using the 1D channel component of the model to determine the relative flow split to each WMA, for a range of inflow conditions
6. Extracting data from the 1D model runs and the WMA characteristics in a manner that enables implementation of a detailed IQQM model of the XXXX and conducting a workshop with the IQQM modellers to effect knowledge transfer
7. Conducting sensitivity testing and uncertainty analysis to determine the inputs and calibration parameters most critical to the overall robustness of the modelling program
8. Refining the scope of phase three of the hydrodynamic modelling program, where specific management options are tested using a fully calibrated 2D model
