Registration of Interest – Power Enabling Works - SM 2020/021

Sydney Metro invites suitably experienced and qualified entities capable of delivering the Power Enabling Works for Sydney Metro West, with an interest in participating in the Request for Tender process, to register their interest in accordance with this Registration of Interest. 

Interested Parties must demonstrate to Sydney Metro’s satisfaction that they are a qualified Level 1 Accredited Service Provider (ASP1), and will be capable (either as individual entities or in suitable consortia) of undertaking the Power Enabling Works.  

The Power Enabling Works comprises  

• 33kV to supply power to the Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) from the Rozelle STS to The Bays Precinct;

• Two under-bores of Victoria Road, Rozelle;

• Concurrent management of up to three different worksites across Greater Sydney;

• Installation of a 1000kVA pad-mounted (Kiosk) substation to power pre-cast facilities for production of pre-cast segments; and

• An option to install 2 HV feeders from the West Parramatta Zone substation to a HVC pad-mounted (Kiosk) substation on site at Westmead to supply 11kV TBM power. 

The Interested Parties will need to be capable of delivering undertake the entirety of the abovementioned scope either as an individual entity or in a suitable consortia.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).

Registrations of Interest must include: 

• Registration of Interest Form;

• Capability Statement no longer than 10 pages addressing the high level scope of works and outlining the Interested Parties relevant experience and capability;

• Confidentiality Deed Poll executed appropriately; and

• Evidence of qualification as an ASP1.
