Expressions of Interest are called for the upgrade of the TfNSW Skid Resistance Vehicle (SRV) field instrumentation system and the associated software systems required for the planning, data acquisition, processing and reporting of TfNSW road pavement skid resistance data.
TfNSW seeks implementation of a commercial instrumentation system architecture (hardware and software) that can be further developed and fitted to their current skid resistance vehicle (SRV), which is a dual channel Sideways-force Coefficient Routine Investigation Machine configuration. An essential component will be the services to adapt, and if required modify, the proposed system, particularly the software, so that it acquires, processes and reports skid resistance data in the form required by TfNSW. The Scope of Supply also includes a number of optional instrumentation modules.
The services required include:
• Specific hardware instrumentation supply, system interfaces, configuration and functional testing (TfNSW will install hardware),
• Optional hardware instrumentation supply, system interfaces, configuration and functional testing (TfNSW will install hardware)
• Software system functional analysis,
• System functional testing,
• System commissioning,
• User and technical documentation and,
• Future maintenance services and support.
