A notice that Commerce, on behalf of NSW Workcover Authority, will be seeking tenders in 2009, for the provision of Workers Compensation Wage Audit Services

Interested parties are invited to register as a tendering system user, or modify their registration so as they may be kept informed of developments in the proposed Request for Tender for the provision of wage audit services

The WorkCover Authority of New South Wales (WorkCover) manages and regulates the State's workplace safety, injury management and workers compensation systems, and is responsible for ensuring compliance with workers compensation and occupational health and safety legislation.

 The proposed RFT will seek offers from suitably capable organisations to provide Wage Audit Services to WorkCover.

 WorkCover initiates wage audits to examine the wage records of NSW employers with the aim of ensuring employer compliance with the law regarding the calculation and payment of workers compensation insurance premiums.

 Presently, it is intended to seek tenders for this requirement on 2 February 2009
