Tender Details
The extent of this request for tender generally involves, but is not limited to, the following aspects:
(1) Removal and cartage of all soil stockpiles which are currently covered with plastic/jute mats and located on either side of the Creek's top embankment within Montgomery Reserve. Refer to Photos in the attachment.
(2) Disposal of contaminated soil at Council's Kelso Landfill at Bransgrove Road, Panania or at another nominated waste management facility that is licensed to accept asbestos material. These two options are further detailed in Clause 3.2.3.
(3) Remediation of the construction site footprint at Montgomery Reserve between Montgomery Avenue and Shirley Avenue. A competent and suitably qualified Occupational Hygienist shall be engaged by the contractor to undertake all necessary steps to ensure that the site is safe for its intended public use. A validation report prepared by a suitably qualified Occupational Hygienist is to be provided prior to the issue of practical completion certificate. This requirement is detailed further in Clause 3.2.4.
