Tender Details
Maintenance dredging works associated with this contract is confined to navigable waters in
between Pelican Marina and the ‘Drop-Over’ into Lake Macquarie, at Marks Point.
Two areas of the channel are affecting navigation of vessels and require maintenance dredging.
The northern-most area (defined herein as Area ‘A’) adjacent to Marks Point requires the
removal of approximately 20,000 cubic metres of clean marine sands. The southern-most area
(Area ‘B’) is located near the southern entrance into Swan Bay and comprises the removal of
approximately 20,000 cubic metres of clean marine sands.
