Tender Details

icare currently operates one mobile respiratory testing service (Mobile Clinic) to compliment an onsite clinic in the Sydney CBD, with the possibility of operating a second Mobile Clinic in the future. The Mobile Clinic supports employers and scheme clients by visiting worksites or premises in regional areas. As the Mobile Clinic is a double axel trailer with air bag suspension and is equipped with an x-ray room, advanced lung function testing equipment and a medical practitioner to conduct the examination, it minimises disruptions to the workday and save travel time for some workers and scheme participants.

Haulage services are required to tow the Mobile Clinic to various locations across NSW.

RFT Type

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
