Tender Details

The successful Tenderer will be offered a contract to provide the following services:

 

- Interpret and advise NSWTI officers on the medical assessments of applicants as provided by General Practitioners (“GPs”) and/or Medical Specialists (“Specialists”) in support of their applications.

 

- Interpret and advise on medical assessments and subsequent diagnostic recommendations made by GP’s and Specialists.

 

- Provide independent medical advice and recommendations to NSWTI regarding the suitability of individual applications to the transport subsidy Schemes.

 

- As required undertake or subcontract face-to-face medical assessments of TTSS applicants or participants.

 

- Liaise with members and representatives of the NSW medical profession on NSWTI’s medical assessment procedures.

 

- Co-ordinate with NSWTI’s assisting Occupational Health Nurse in the assessment of medical criteria.

 

- Provide training and guidance to NSWTI assessing officers in relation to the medical assessment process as required.

Additional Details / Instructions

NSW Transport and Infrastructure will engage the service provider for a period of two years (24 months), on a weekly basis of two (2) days per week (14 hours) in the office and assessment of TTSS applications as required (approximately 200 per week / 2 days a week). Applications to the TTSS may be undertaken at the practitioner's own office/s.
