In 2006, the NSW Government released an updated Working With Government Guidelines for Privately Financed Projects. The Guidelines cover the procedures for evaluating and procuring privately financed Government infrastructure projects.
To assist in the evaluation and development of projects under these Guidelines, NSW Treasury maintains a pre-qualified panel of financial and specialist industry advisers. Panel advisers have from time to time been invited to submit bids to assist Treasury and agencies in the evaluation and development of certain proposed privately financed projects. This panel needs refreshing and Treasury is seeking expressions of interest from suitable organisations for a new pre-qualified panel.
NSW Treasury also occasionally requires expert financial advice on specific projects that are not typical privately financed projects. These projects may or may not involve the private sector. In these cases privately financed project experience is not as relevant as extensive financial experience in other specific areas such as valuations, capital structure, sales and acquisitions and project finance.
NSW Treasury seeks expressions of interest from suitable organisations to be included on one or both of the following pre-qualified financial adviser panels:
• Financial Advisers for Privately Financed Projects; and
• Specialist Financial Advisers
