EOI - Evans Head Park and Foreshore Rejuvenation Project - CW042021EH-09EOI

RHP wish to ascertain the level of interest and suitability of leading civil, landscaping and services contractors to complete the construction of the Evans Head Park and Foreshore rejuvenation Project, which consists of:

Riverside Precinct

• Decommissioning of existing camp sites establishing new public open space of the Central Precinct

• Reconfiguration & refurbishment of 50 new short-term camping sites all with power, water and sullage

• Creation of footpath linking Town Centre to Evans River Foreshore.

Central Precinct

• Construction of new picnic shelters, BBQ facilities and a Regionally Iconic Playground

• Construction of new landscaped Amphitheatre & events space

• Kiosk upgrade, including the improvement of outdoor eating areas

• Equal access design for all above infrastructure including beach & foreshore.

• Repairs and upgrades to shared pedestrian and bicycle path

• General landscaping & beautification

• Reconfiguration of the existing road network including provision of additional visitor day parking.

Beachside Precinct

• Construction of 6 new luxury self-contained cabins (architecturally and environmentally designed)

• Construction of new landscaping and beautification of public-facing boundaries

The intention of the EOI process is to short list interested contractors based on their demonstrated ability against the evaluation criteria.

A Mandatory Briefing will be held on Tuesday, 13 April 2021. 

Email addresses and contact phone numbers of the names of persons attending the mandatory briefing must be provided to the contact person at least 2 working days prior to the date. No more than 2 persons from each tenderer will be permitted to attend the briefing.
