Tender Details

An assessment to identify priority state-level climate change related risks and opportunities to inform development of a state adaptation action plan as specified in NSW the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.

The assessment of risks and opportunities to inform adaptation (and an orderly transition to a low carbon economy) for the jurisdiction of NSW (including marine parks and coastal waters) out to 2100 for the NSW economy, society and environment from the current and future effects of climate change.

The assessment will consider physical, transition and liability risks for climate related acute shocks and climate-related long term and episodic stresses or trends in climactic conditions.

There will also be a method for Aboriginal engagement to set priorities for the state adaptation plan from a perspective that incorporates Aboriginal knowledge and embeds an Aboriginal voice in the assessment process.

Conditions for Participation

Must meet the 2 mandatory requirements to participate.

1. Do you have both corporate and project leads with experience in delivering more than one climate change risk, resilience or vulnerability assessment and/or adaptation planning project for a government, project, corporation or place.

2.Do you have in-house Aboriginal leads or a partnership with an Aboriginal owned entity.
