Tender Details

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the provision of pound services or a panel of veterinary clinics and/or animal shelters to carry out pound service. Council may also consider the provision of overnight holding facilities by veterinary clinics and/or animal shelters. Council will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of animals.

Council may consider the following options:

a)Pound Services

•Panel of providers for pound services, Council will only consider pound facilities within 30km’s radius of Canterbury-Bankstown Council’s Civil Tower.

•Panel of veterinary clinics and/or animal shelters to carry out pound services. This option will only be considered if the facility is within 15km’s radius of Canterbury Bankstown Council’s Civic Tower and there is enough capacity within the panel to service Council’s requirements.

•The tenderer is to nominate how many cats and/or dogs it can house weekly.

b)Holding Facility

•Panel of veterinary clinics and/or animal shelters within 15km’s radius of Canterbury Bankstown Council’s Civic Tower to house animals up to 72 hours.

•The tenderer is to nominate how many cats and/or dogs it can house weekly.
