Sydney Opera House - Western Foyer & Greenroom RFT (Food & Beverage) - SOH-C247

The Opera House is seeking proposals from suitably experienced, competent and skilled hospitality operators who would like the opportunity to supply food and beverage services at the Western Foyers (three theatre bars and one restaurant) and Green Room.

A precinct map and floor plan of the venues that are the subject of this Request for Tender are included in the Information Package.

The Western Foyers

• The Western Foyers Restaurant and Theatre Bars cater to a broad and diverse range of audiences, reflective of the depth of programming across the three Western Foyer performance venues. The food and beverage offering must similarly reflect this depth and diversity.

• Key opportunities for the Western Foyers are not only integrating the food and beverage offering with the programming of its theatres but also delivering a restaurant concept that establishes the venue as a destination in its own right.

• It is expected that the incoming operator of the Western Foyers will elevate the visitor experience by delivering a thoughtful offering, convenience and attractive price points.

The Green Room

• The Green Room is a critically important part of the Opera House experience, particularly for our staff, performers, crew and contractors who prefer the intimacy of the back of house areas and often not able both from a time and financial perspective to  access public-facing Opera House venues. As a result many are regular customers, providing the offering is varied, fast and attractive.

• Key to a successful operation in the Green Room is a fast, affordable, high quality and regularly changing food and beverage offering.

• The Green Room operator will also be called upon to provide additional services such as artists riders and internal catering requests.
