Tender Details

Tenders are called for the design and construction of three new industrial buildings. These include a workshop and warehouse building at the CW Pump Station area and a warehouse building adjacent to the Main Warehouse at Eraring Power Station.

KEY SCOPE OR DELIVERABLES OF WORKS

The Contractor will be required to design and construct the buildings as specified. The construction of the buildings comprises marine grade roof and wall sheeting supported on structural steelwork. The structural steel portal frames with protective coatings of inorganic zinc and cladding of marine grade aluminium such as Permalite LT7® or equal.

The Tender allows Tenderers to submit offers for the alternate wall system as specified. Tenderers may choose to submit an Alternatives Tender provided the construction of the buildings comprises marine grade roof sheeting with the alternate construction system of precast structural concrete wall panels.

Additional Details / Instructions

Site Inspection: Site inspection is mandatory and will commence at 10:00 am on Wednesday, 16^th September 2009. Names of those attending are to be forwarded to the Contact Officer at least 24 hours prior. Note that visitors to Eraring Energy are required to wear safety eyewear, safety hardhat, long sleeves, long trousers, enclosed footwear and a high visibility vest.
