Tender Details

The daily deployment of 15 SMART drumlines over an approximately 15-km stretch of coast from Woody Head-Angourie Back Beach in the Clarence Valley, and from North Shore-Lighthouse Beach in the Port Macquarie local government areas up to at least 30 June 2022.

DPI will provide the SMART drumlines and the iPad-based electronic reporting tool and associated training, the tenderer needs to bring fishing experience and credentials, a safe operating environment, fully vaccinated skipper and crew and specific fishing vessels and back-up vessel that must be:

1. appropriately certified by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and meets all requirements of the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Act 2012 and its Regulations; and

2. appropriately certified to carry at least four people.
