McDonald Jones Stadium Seating Replacement - MJS-CAPEX-IN9/2

McDonald Jones Stadium (formal name Hunter Stadium) is the centrepiece of the Hunter Venues sports precinct, located in the city of Newcastle, NSW, approximately two hours north of Sydney. Originally known as the Newcastle International Sports Centre, it was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on April 10, 1970.

This rectangular multi-purpose outdoor stadium with a capacity of up to 33,000 is home ground to the Newcastle's two flagship sporting franchises, the Newcastle Knights (NRL) and the Newcastle Jets (A-Leagues).

VNSW invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the provisions of replacement of stadium seating (the ‘Goods’) located in the Eastern Grandstand Lower Seating Bowl, Northern Hill and Southern Hill of McDonald Jones Stadium. The scope will require the supply, delivery, installation and disposal of 9,235 seats.

VNSW intends engage a single supplier for the entire works. The resulting Agreement will be in accordance with the GC21 Conditions of Contract (the Agreement) as per Part D – Conditions of Contract.
