Tender Details

Panel of Bush Regenerators for the South Coast, NSW South East Local Land Services (LLS) administer several programs that support environmental rehabilitation and restoration works on private and public lands. There is currently a focus on bushfire recovery in impacted areas of the Shoalhaven region. LLS often has a need to engage locally based suitably qualified contractors to carry out these environmental works. Works include weed control, bush regeneration and revegetation on public and private land. South East Local Land Services is currently running an Expression of Interest to engage a panel of suppliers - bush regenerators, to undertake work on the South Coast between North Wollongong and Batemans Bay on an adhoc basis over the next 3 years. Being on the panel of South East LLS preferred suppliers will mean that when works arises, panel associates will be engaged to carry out these services at the agreed contract rate. While being on the panel does not necessarily guarantee employment, it will provide an advantage for a business to secure significant projects across the region. Organisations should demonstrate a good track record of bush regeneration experience with an ability to recommend and implement appropriate weed treatments and regeneration approaches to ensure ecological function is maintained. The mandatory requirements include: 1. At a minimum the supervisor of the organisation being qualified at a Certificate III or higher level in Conservation and Land Management (CALM). 2. The supervisor of the organisation must hold a valid White Card and Chemical Certificate for herbicide use. 3. All members of the team must have a valid Chemical Certificate for herbicide use. 4. The organisation must demonstrate WH&S practices including the use of risk management tools and Safe Work Method Statements 5. The company must be registered for GST and have a valid ABN, public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Businesses that wish to apply should refer to the attached tender documents.
