WATERMAINS WORKS PROGRAM - 0510022899

Sydney Water is seeking proposals from organisations with the vision, experience, capabilities and commitment to join an alliance and deliver the bulk of Sydney Waters Watermains Works Program (WWP). It is intended that the alliance contract will have an initial term of four years, with a further extension term of three years at the discretion of Sydney Water, subject to satisfactory performance of the participants. The forecast value of the contract for the first four years is approximately $450 million.

The scope of the WWP Alliance will include planning support, investigation, design, environmental impact assessment, communications, construction, commissioning and all other facets of project management. The program is to be delivered from mid 2009.

Individual pre-submission positive guidance sessions Individual pre-submission guidance sessions will be held with proponents between 8.30am to 5.30pm on Tuesday, 11 November 2008 and Wednesday, 12 November 2008, in Sydney Waters conference room at 36b Brunker Road, Yagoona NSW 2199. Each proponent will be allocated about 2 hours for these sessions. Prospective proponents are required to notify the Sydney Water contact person by fax or email no later than 2.00pm on Friday 7 November 2008 with the names and positions of those intending to attend a session. Those who have notified their intention to attend a session will be contacted and informed of the exact time and date for the session. The guidance session is to explain the objectives of the program, the scope of work, and the process for selecting Sydney Waters preferred proponent.

Request for Proposals

The Request for Proposals package will only be available from Sydney Waters dedicated tender website https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/sydneywater. It can be down-loaded from Monday, 3 November 2008. The charge for down-loading the package is $200. To enable Sydney Water to advise prospective proponents of any additional information or changes to the selection process, you must register your contact details before down-loading the package. The Request for Proposals will not be available in hard copy.

PROPOSALS MUST BE LODGED BY 9.30AM ON TUESDAY 9 DECEMBER 2008

Proposals must be lodged through Sydney Waters Tender Box on the Ground Floor at 115-123 Bathurst Street, Sydney. Proposals forwarded by fax or email will not be considered.
