Tender Details

This RFT covers the Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care (DADHC) requirements for Entertainment and Production Management Services for the Premier's 2009-2011 Christmas Gala Concerts and Seniors Week Gala Concerts for a period of three (3) years with 2 x 1 year extension options.

This comprises creative development and production of most elements of the events including movement, lighting, dressing, set design and build, ambience and entertainment elements that combine seamlessly to provide a high quality entertainment event targeted at people aged 60+ that also meet the Concert objectives.

The Contractor will therefore be responsible for the creative development of, and managing and coordinating, a range of activities including:
  • creating the concept idea and designing venues, sets and surrounds;
  • technical direction/production - defining, sourcing and operating lighting, audio and audio-visual requirements;
  • rehearsal management;
  • stage management, which includes the calling of the concert;
  • creating, developing and presenting options for an entertainment program;
  • artist engagement and management;
  • music direction;
  • costume design and production for performances; and
  • coordinating and managing a team of staff
