Tender Details

DET is seeking to establish an Agreement for the supply of sporting equipment to NSW schools.

A secondary outcome is for the Agreement to be available for other government agencies such as Juvenile Justice, Corrective Services, and The Department of Sporting and Recreation to purchase sporting equipment.

The period of the contract will be up to three (3) years with two (2) x one (1) year options, depending on the RFT responses received exercisable at the discretion of the SCCB.

The Contractor(s) is required to provide a range of quality sporting equipment to accommodate schools, specifically for the Premiers Sporting Challenge

i. Predetermined Sporting Equipment Kits
ii. Customised Sporting Equipment Kits
iii. Approved Individual Sporting Equipment Items

There is a preference to appoint one (1) supplier to service all of NSW. However, tenderers may tender for one region or a number of regions commensurate with the tenderers capacity, capability and compliance with the specification requirements for that region or regions.

The Tenderer must have the capacity/resources to deliver to DET schools in NSW. DET schools are divided into 10 geographical regions as listed below:
    Metropolitan
  • Northern Sydney
  • Sydney
  • South Western Sydney
  • Western Sydney
  • Newcastle
  • Wollongong

    Regional and Rural
  • New England
  • North Coast
  • Riverina
  • Western NSW
  • Hunter/Central Coast (excluding Newcastle)
  • Illawarra and South East (excluding Wollongong)

    Obtaining the required DMax Lite V5.1 software:

    The RFT documents are made available in "* . DTT" format only. This format is specific to the software, 'DMax Lite', that is manufactured by 'DecisionMax Pty Ltd'.

    Please note and act on the following -

    To open the RFT main document file (ie the ***.DTT file) and to prepare your tender you will need to use the 'Dmax Lite' software.

    If you do not already have a current and licenced copy of 'Dmax Lite' v5.1 software, a copy of the software can downloaded from this web site at no cost. Then the licence key to activate the software can be purchased and from this web site (fro $110) as part of your download process.
    After you log-in and access the RFT more options will be presented to you relating to the software.

    Lodging a tender:

    Your completed tender in the required software format MUST be lodged electronically via this RFT web page.
