Tender Details

The objective of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to rationalise the Imaging Device Fleet within the NSW Department of Commerce ('Commerce').

In an effort to 'streamline this marketplace' Commerce is undertaking a rationalization program of its print / imaging fleet, assisting all of NSW Department of Commerce to rationalize its fleets in line with new technology developments.

  • This program is focused on bringing the 'very best supplier solutions'. To do this Commerce will open to a competitive bid environment.


    This RFQ is restricted to companies who supply under product categories 1 - 6 and 8 under Contract 2390 Imaging Devices and Document Solutions.

    Pre-Qualified / Invited - Only those directly invited to tender, may obtain an RFT for the purpose of lodging a tender response. Generally an invitation from a pre-qualified register of approved tenderers who have the ability to undertake the particular work or type of work proposed, a limited number of service providers are known to carry out the work or service (or in emergency or other restricted situations). Tenderers have usually been pre-qualified, accredited, or selected for the type of work and financial range. Competitive bids called from a standing offer (panel / period) contracts would also use this type.

    Obtaining the RFT Documents:

    First time visitors to this web site who wish to participate ie. download, will need to self-register on this web site to gain access to the RFT documents, or a new copy of the software.

    Download all files - which will include the following files:
    *** . DTT - this is the main RFT documentation in a DMax Lite database format.
    In addition there are some other files which are handy Guides and a Transmittal form for the tender - do not incorporate this in your DMax tender response file.
    Send in the Transmittal form separately.

    Obtaining the required DMax Lite V5.1 software:

    The RFT documents are made available in "* . DTT" format only. This format is specific to the software, 'DMax Lite', that is manufactured by 'DecisionMax Pty Ltd'.

    Please note and act on the following -

    To open the RFT main document file (ie the ***.DTT) and to prepare your tender you will need to use the 'Dmax Lite' software.

    If you do not already have a current and licenced copy of 'Dmax Lite' v5.1 software, a copy of the software can be purchased and downloaded from this site as part of your download process.
    After you log in and access the RFT more options will be presented to you relating to the software.

    Lodging a tender:

    Your completed tender in the required software format MUST be lodged electronically via this RFT web page.
    Click on the blue "LODGE A RESPONSE" link at the bottom of this page and follow the on-screen instructions.
    As the tenderer you must be a registered user of this tendering web site.

    Your tender MUST include at least one file in *.DTR format.

    Other PC requirements:
