Tender Details

The extent of works for this contract includes but is not limited to:

Provide routine and reactive maintenance to technical service equipment at various Hunter Insitute campuses. Technical services include:

automatic sprinkler systems

fire hose reels

fire hydrant systems and hydrant standpipes

lay flat hoses

fire extinguishers and fire blankets

automatic fire detection and alarm systems and sub-boards

automatic smoke/heat systems

very early smoke detection apparatus

fire doors

automatic doors including power operated bi-fold doors

automatic gates

uninterruptible and short-break power supplies

emergency stop buttons

emergency evacuation lighting and systems

emergency warning and intercommunication systems.
The works comprise all work shown on the drawings and included in the specification.

A mandatory site meeting will be held at Department of Commerce Training Rooms, Hall Street, Newcastle West at 10:30 am on 17 November 2008. Attendance at the meeting is compulsory. Tenders received from contractors not in attendance at the site meeting will not be considered for acceptance.
