Provision of Certain Bus Services for Major Events at Sydney Olympic Park - MoT 2008/006

The successful tender(s) will provide certain bus services on the Routes for Major Events held at Sydney Olympic Park, together with other support services. As an indication, the successful tenderer(s) may have to provide the Bus Services for the following Major Events each year during the term of the contract for the provision of the Services:

(1) ARL State of Origin: approximately one or two matches per year;

(2) Rugby Union Tests: approximately two matches per year;

(3) Sydney Swans: approximately four home and away games per year plus up to two finals games subject to qualifying for the finals series;

(4) NSW Waratahs: one home and away game per year plus the Super 14 Final subject to qualifying;

(5) Socceroos: approximately one match per year; (6) NRL Grand Final;

(7) Royal Easter Show; and

(8) other events as determined.

Specified below are the nine established bus routes that are used for the provision of Bus Services to Sydney Olympic Park in support of Major Events (Routes). For the avoidance of doubt, Route 2A and B; Route 5A and B; and Route 7A and B are considered to form one complete route (not two separate routes).

The Routes are as follows:

1. Route 1A: Warriewood via Dee Why

2. Route 1B: Warriewood via Mona Vale

3. Route 2A and B: Glebe via Gladesville and Glebe via Hunters Hill and Gladesville

4. Route 3: Marsfield via Macquarie University

5. Route 4: Maroubra

6. Route 5A and B: Castle Hill via Baulkham Hills and Rouse Hill via Baulkham Hills

7. Route 6: Menai

8. Route 7A and B: Miranda via Hurstville and Cronulla via Hurstville
