Tender Details
This Request For Tender (RFT) covers the NSW Fire Brigades (NSWFB) requirement for the design, construction, registration and delivery of Community Fire Unit (CFU) trailers in two phases, as follows:
Phase 1:One Development Trailer
Phase 2:Production Unit Trailers, if required, during a 3 year period after acceptance of the Development Trailer plus two optional extension periods each of one year duration.
The Development Trailer under Phase 1 is a fixed requirement.
Under Phase 2 the NSWFB is not bound to order any trailers but envisages that between 30 and 100 units will be required annually.
The successful tenderer however will have to demonstrate the capacity to fulfil an order of 100 or more units and be able to manufacture up to 200 units in any one year.
The CFU trailers are to be manufactured in accordance with NSWFB technical specification C1 No: 06953 June 2007, which is provided at Schedule 4, Part D of the RFT.
CAD Drawings *
The drawings provided in the technical specification at Schedule 4 to Part D are available in CAD format on a CD.
If you require a copy of the CD send your request by email to mark.vanepen@commerce.nsw.gov.au and clearly indicate in your email the name of the person and the street address that the CD has to be sent to.
