Tender Details
NSW Maritime is inviting submissions from contractors wishing to pre-qualify to tender to carry out inspections, maintenance and construction of marine structure within New South Wales. NSW Maritime will subsequently invite the pre-qualified contractors to submit tenders for this work for an initial period of 3 years with the possible extension for the contract to another two years.
Pre-qualified contractors may be offered other opportunities to tender for NSW Maritime construction and maintenace works as they arise over the validity period of the pre-qualification process.
The pre-qualification approach to contractors is designed to encourage contractors to commit to long-term continuous improvement and to achieve outstanding performance on services provided.
The benefits of the pre-qualification include:
* applicants compete on an equal basis against other contractors of comparable capability and capacity;
* reduce tendering time and costs as pre-qualified contractor do not need to supply full company details in support of each subsequent tender as such details have already been
provided and acknowledged in the prequalification process;
* the opportunity to develop an ongoing business relationship with NSW Maritime for maritime works.

Expression of Interest For Pre-Qualification - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a type of work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria. RFT may then be invited from a panel of providers (as Selective, or Invited).
