To better understand the geology and structure of the Southern Gunnedah Basin, it is proposed to read a 2km x 2km gravity grid over the area of interest.
This Request is for Tenders to provide NSW DPI with the acquisition, processing and supply of approximately 4,600 new Gravity Stations in the Southern Gunnedah Basin region of eastern NSW. The Station Spacing will be on a regular 2km x 2km grid.
To facilitate an effective and efficient survey, it is strongly recommended that a helicopter is used to mobilise from gravity station to gravity station. Under the direction of NSW DPI, the successful tenderer will notify all affected landholders in the area.
The preferred commencement date for acquisition is on or before 30 June, 2008. Commencement of acquisition must begin by 31 July, 2008 and must be completed by 31 September, 2008. Delivery of final data and products must be within six (6) weeks of completion of acquisition.
