It is intended to create a panel of pre-qualified Contractors to carry out The Rocks upgrade program within contract price bands of up to $500,000 and from $500,000 to $2,000,000.
As part of The Rocks upgrade program, the Authority aims to undertake as discrete packages, upgrade work to some buildings in The Rocks during an approximate period of three years commencing in 2007 with an estimated budget of $12 M.
The work involves interior and exterior refurbishment and fitout (often in a heritage context), maintenance, conservation and refurbishment including minor structural modifications to internal walls, installation of new building elements, lighting, joinery, and mechanical and associated electrical services
