The primary objective of this assignment is as follows:
To undertake a detailed environmental assessment (in the form of two separate reports - Environmental Assessment [EA] & Public Environmental Report[PER]) for the activity of the creation of the deployment of offshore artificial reefs off Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong, in order for the activity to be assessed under the State Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act), the Commonwealth Environmental Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and the Commonwealth Environment protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981(Sea Dumping Act).
