BACKGROUND
The Authority is responsible for the management and renewal of sites of state significance such as The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo (East Darling Harbour) and requires delivery of a large and evolving works program/projects. Due the high profile nature and scale of works these projects will require highly experienced and skilled project management professionals capable of undertaking a diverse range of activities in representing the Authoritys interests through the project lifecycle.
The diverse range of the Authority's assets, the types of programs and projects required to support the portfolio's development is broad and may include public domain, services infrastructure, civil works, commercial development, retail development, heritage conservation and sustainability initiatives. Projects are undertaken for the Authority by both the Major Projects and also Tenant & Asset Management Services Divisions.
The Authority has accreditation as a Project Managed Organisation (PMO) from the Australian Institute of Project Management.
OBJECTIVE The objective of this EOI is to establish a panel of suitably qualified and experienced service providers specialising in the provision of program/project management services for project values in two ranges of up to $10 million and above $10 million.
In establishing the panel the Authority seeks to achieve its corporate goals through program/project delivery that is:
As programs and projects are defined by the Authority services providers on the panel may be requested to nominate specific project team staff based on their tendered schedule of rates. The Authority reserves the right to approach more than one panellist and select the most appropriate candidate for each program/project.
