This RFT is for the engagement of Principal Design Consultant for all design phases of the Port Macquarie Police Station project from return brief and blocking plan through design development to construction, commissioning and DLP phases.
The project is intended to modernise and improve the police’s service delivery to the local community and to meet the operational needs of the Port Macquarie Police Area Command.
Engagement of the PDC will be under the standard NSW Police Consultancy Agreement.
No deviations from this standard agreement will be entered into.
The PDC is to provide all necessary resources to complete the concept design, design development, design management, and design co-ordination of the project in line with this document, the consultancy agreement and all relevant referenced documents.
The PDC, in collaboration with Downer and NSWPF, is to provide detailed design and documentation for the Port Macquarie Police Station, for approval by NSWPF, to a level sufficient for the engagement of a Head Contractor to deliver the construction works.
