Tender Details

Forest NSW is inviting tenders for the purchase of up to 30,000 tonnes of residue and up to 3,000 tonnes of Ex-Quota sawlogs from the silvicultural thinning of predominantly drought stressed compartments within Perricoota, Koondrook and Millewa State forests located south of the township of Barham and east of the township of Mathoura.  Residue and Ex-Quota logs will be offered in three lots and available for purchase from or soon after the 1 September 2009 for a period of up to nine months.  The timber offered is to be sold under stumpage sale arrangements.

Key tendering requirements are:

·         Identification of the quantities sought

·         The submission of a price per tonne for Residue log and Ex-Quota logs (excluding GST) for each lot on offer

·         Conformity to tender requirements

·         A description of company capabilities to harvest, undertake log grading and segregation, process and market the quantity sought.

Documentation and demonstrated ability to conform to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 as well as Forests NSW requirements.
