Coal Innovation NSW (CINSW) is undertaking the Central Darling Seismic Survey (CDSS) in the central Darling Basin north of Wilcannia. The CDSS is the continuation of work to identify potential CO2 storage opportunities in NSW as part of the state-wide NSW CO2 Storage Assessment Project. Approximately 208 km of high-resolution seismic data along seven lines (Figure 1) will be acquired, processed and interpreted to better understand the regional setting and identify possible CO2 storage locations to be targeted for exploration drilling
