The extent of works for this contract includes but is not limited to:
The Department of Commerce on behalf the Department of Education and Training is to carry out a construction program of Covered Outdoor Learning Areas (COLAs) for Hunter Region Public Schools throughout the 2009/2010 financial period.
Contract 0901018 is for the design, documentation and construction of steel framed COLAs complete with guttering and downpipe. The facilities will be provided on an as needed basis to public schools throughout the following DET school administration areas:
- Central Coast
- Lake Macquarie
- Newcastle
- Maitland
- Muswellbrook
The works comprise all work shown on the drawings and included in the specification.
Tenders have been invited from the following companies to undertake the delivery of the COLA Program:
