The purpose of Procurement at Sydney Water is to get the goods, services and facilities it needs, when it needs them and for the right cost. Expression Of Interest to identify suppliers that meet Sydney Water’s pre-qualification requirements for the provision of recovered material logistics services and bin maintenance and repairs are requested. Those suppliers meeting the pre-qualification requirements will be invited to participate in Tender for the provision of Recovered Material Logistics Services. Logistics services are required for the collection of waste material generated from Sydney Water's treatment plants and network sites and transporting to a processing facility for recycling or landfill disposal. Regular services are required for the collection of grit and screening waste from treatment plants and civil recovered materials from network maintenance depots. The scope includes, but not limited to:
Separable Portion 1:
• Timely collection of recovered material from the Sydney Water sites, including the provision of bins as specified.
• Transporting the collected recovered material to the Sydney Water nominated recovered materials processing or landfill facility for unloading.
Separable Portion 2:
• Providing bin inspection, condition monitoring, preventative maintenance and bin repairs to prolong the life and availability of the Sydney Water owned bins. Suppliers can tender for Separable Portion 1 or Separable Portion 2 or both portions.

Conditions for Participation
If selected to participate in this sourcing event tenderers must meet the following requirements:
• Ariba registration, if required.
• Minimum Work, Health, Safety criteria: AS4801/AS/NZS/ISO45001; OR NSW government WHS management system and auditing guidelines - 6th Edition; OR Office of Federal Safety Commission (OFSC accreditation)
• Certification to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000
• Environment Protection Licence issued by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA)
• National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation: Mass Management; OR Maintenance Management; OR Fatigue Management (Basic or Advanced)
• Range of plant and equipment available to meet the specified service requirements including suitability for transporting odours materials
• Experience, expertise, personnel, training, and proven capability to effectively provide the range of services required by Sydney Water, including administration support and sub- contractor management systems where applicable
• Meet the regular service and ability to provide additional services including innovation
