Tender Details

For all Local and State electoral events, the NSW Electoral Commission (NSWEC) must provide a range of cardboard polling equipment & furniture, to facilitate the voting process at all Polling Places. This Equipment includes items that are used in the physical voting process e.g. ballot boxes and voting screens.

The next State Government Election will be held on Saturday, 26 March 2011, with the next Local Government (Council) Election to be held in September 2012. In the period between the two major events are a number of state and government by elections.

NSWEC is seeking to select a Contractor to supply cardboard polling equipment prior to the 2011 State General Election and 2012 Local Government Elections.  The requirements for a State General Election and Local Government Election are very similar.  For the purposes of this Request For Tender (RFT) and as a basis for Contractor selection, the requirements of the State General Election are detailed.

NSWEC’s business is conducted in a high profile environment. The NSWEC is therefore committed to engaging Contractor(s) that can provide evidence of extensive experience in their field of work, with a strong commitment to excellence and high levels of security and quality assurance.
