Tender Details

• Batteries and battery management systems (standalone DC units, without inverter)
• Inverters and energy management systems (standalone units, without battery)
• Integrated battery/inverter units (i.e. AC-coupled batteries) 
Transport is developing a pilot project where grid-connected battery energy storage systems (BESS) will be installed across 15 sites. Each project site will utilise BESS ranging from approximately 100kW-ac to 2MW-ac, with an aggregated capacity of approximately 7MW and batteries expected to range in duration from 1 to 4 hours. These battery installations will be connected to the local DNSP network; either behind existing site meters or through new, front-of-meter connections.

Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria. RFT may then be invited from a panel of providers (as Selective, or Invited).
