Tender Details

FCNSW manages approximately 260,000 ha of plantations in Regional NSW. These plantations are managed (among others), from Regional Offices in Grafton, Walcha, Bathurst, Tumut and Bombala. Experienced companies are invited to submit proposals for aerial fire-fighting services. One Parcel of work will be based near Tumut and the other parcel based near Bathurst. Proponents will also be required, depending on the fire conditions, to provide occasional aerial fire-fighting services in the other regional forests throughout NSW with potential bases at Walcha, Grafton and Bombala.

Three parcels of Aerial Pesticide Application Services are also sought for the Snowy Region (Tumut and Bombala), the Macquarie Region (Bathurst), and the Northern Region (Walcha and Grafton). The Northern Region includes hardwood timber whereas the Snowy and Bathurst Regions are only softwood.

Proponents are welcome to submit proposals for any or all of the available parcels to maximise efficiencies and synergies between regions and tasks. The RFP will close on the 15th January2021. Parcels will be awarded on the 11th March 2021 and contracts will commence from the 1st July 2021

RFT Type

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
