Operational Advisory for Further Fast Rail Development Activities 

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) invites entities with relevant and proven experience to register their interest to participate in the procurement process for the Operational Advisory for further Fast Rail development activities.  

Following this Expression of Interest, entities that TfNSW considers are able to perform the services, have capability and satisfy the Minimum Requirements detailed below will be shortlisted to receive the Request for Proposal (RFP) document upon release.  

Minimum Requirement 1 

Proponents must demonstrate experience with developing operations and maintenance concepts and plans in Australia or internationally, or proven experience with large scale rail projects. 

Minimum Requirement 2  

Access to international fast rail expertise, in particular maintainers and operators of existing high-speed operations. This requirement can be satisfied through suitable sub-consultancy agreements or partnerships where the respondent does not have international presence. 

Minimum Requirement 3 

Key team members to have at least 10 years’ rail operation and maintenance experience in the Australian or International high-speed rail industry. 

Entities seeking to register should detail which other entities, if any, they intend to join with for the purposes of submitting an expression of interest.

Expression of Interest for Specific Contracts - An invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for pre-registration of prospective tenderers for a specific work or service. Applicants are initially evaluated against published selection criteria, and those who best meet the required criteria are invited to Tender (as tender type Pre-Qualified/Invited).

In order to gain access to the Request for Tender documents, Tenderers are required to register their interest by sending an email to tss.bidder@transport.nsw.gov.au and include the following information: 

1) Tender No and Title, 2) RFT  ID , 3) Organisation Name, 4) ACN/ ABN, 5) Contact Name, 6) Organisation/Contact Postal Address, 7) Contact Email Address (preferably an email address with the contact person's name), 8) Contact Phone number
