Upgrade of Sports Lighting at Various Parks - T02-10

The requirements for all electrical items are regarded as typical and similar for all parks. The floodlighting upgrades are design and construct contracts that shall be based on various specification attached for various sites and any accompanying drawing(s).

 

The contract over the period of three years will generally consist of new, relocated and/or upgraded floodlighting and upgrade of the associated electrical reticulation.  Existing floodlighting poles may be sourced from other parks and installed under this contract if directed by Council. Existing redundant poles that are to be removed shall remain on site for collection by Bankstown Council.

 

Floodlighting will generally consist of new lighting poles and light fittings, new switchboards and controls. The electrical Customer Service Line and Consumers Mains from the adjacent street or local substation may require upgrading depending on the load. Upgrading of the electrical service shall form part of this design and construct contract.
