Tender Details

The Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water NSW (DECCW) is enlisting expertise to evaluate the project activities and mid-project outcomes of the Land Alive - Aboriginal Land Management for Biodiversity project.

This independent and externally sourced evaluation is required to identify and evaluate challenges, achievements and project performance, bringing to light any project adaptations occurring in response to stakeholder needs. Applicants will be required to outline an evaluation approach and methodology, including likely timeframes and strategies to engage the range of project stakeholders.

The successful proponent will require a high level of experience in:

· Engaging effectively with local community groups and/or Aboriginal community groups to identify relevant cultural values or specific needs

Written and verbal communication skills, especially community consultation
Effective time, resource and relationship management
Developing appropriate evaluation frameworks
Successful project evaluation and reporting

Environmental project evaluation (highly regarded but not compulsory).
