Operate under Lease 'The Gardens Restaurant' within the Mount Annan Botanic Garden - 0900403

Interested parties are invited to tender for the operation of a restaurant and kiosk within the Mount Annan Botanic Garden, Mount Annan Drive Mount Annan, under lease for a 4 year period with a 4 year option.

SPA has been requested by the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust (Botanic Gardens Trust – BGT, the Trust) to manage a tender process for a lease of the operation of The Gardens Restaurant - as a one letting opportunity within the Mount Annan Botanic Garden - for a period of 4 years with an additional option period of a further 4 years.

The new lease will coincide with the expiration of the existing lease at a mutually agreed time on or before 5^th November 2009

 

The principle objectives of the lease of The Gardens Restaurant are to:

• Ensure the continuation of a high quality and innovative food service outlet within the Mount Annan Botanic Garden that offers diners the choice of restaurant and kiosk dining experiences.

• Reinforce the Gardens Restaurant premises as a highly desirable destination for diners as well as for patrons seeking lighter meals and snacks.

• The BGT recognises this need and through this invitation to tender is providing potential Lessees with an opportunity to take an innovative business approach to the operation of The Gardens Restaurant.

• Generate income for the BGT, which will contribute to the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the Mount Annan Botanic Garden.
