Design, Supply and Installation of Heat Pumps at Birrong Leisure & Aquatic Centre - T17-21

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of air-to-water heat pumps system as stated in technical specifications separately attached to this document.

The proposed heat pumps shall produce an adequate heating capacity to maintain the 50M long pool to target temperature throughout the year. Scope of works also includes design supply and lay of a new concrete slab to support the proposed heat pumps.

The proposed heat pumps and all associated items shall be fully warranted and maintained for a period of twenty four (24) months following practical completion.

A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Council will conduct a compulsory briefing for potential Tenderers to be held at 10am on 4 August 2020 at Birrong Leisure & Aquatic Centre, Wellington Rd, Birrong NSW 2143.

Note: Tenderers attending site briefing are reminded to comply with COVID-19 guidelines.

Council will not consider Tender loged by a Tenderer who fails to sign the attendance sheet at this briefing or fails to ensure that a representative of the Tenderer signs the attendance sheet on its behalf.
