Tender Details
The project will include renewal works and upgrade of 13 (32 sections) fire trails totalling approximately 98.5 kilometres and will utilise the existing fire trail footprint where possible. The proposed upgraded width of the trail provides for safe, reliable and unobstructed passage by a Category 1 firefighting vehicle (gross vehicle mass of 15 tonnes) within acceptable operational limits. This would include widening existing trails for passing and turnaround bays at intervals.
